Extrusion as an ideal solution for the cost-efficient manufacture of plasticisable raw materials (activated carbon, tungsten carbide, cement, glass etc.)

Our core competence: the combination of tool making, flow behaviour and the adjustment of the batches to the end product. Our area of activity is extrusion technology for a wide range of applications and materials for the petrochemical industry, automotive industry and others.

We see our task in developing an efficient process that, using the options of the plant, the batch and the tools, will create the best possible product.
This forms the basis for our activities:

Tool making

We devise and design extrusion tools according to our customers’ wishes, taking into account the technical process conditions.

Technical realisation is foremost in our minds, so that we can visualise potential defects and take suitable measures to correct the tools.

Our purpose is to start up the tools with the customer’s material batches in a situation that reflects real production as closely as possible.

Consultation and service

Our company offers a broad spectrum of services in the area of consultation and services. These comprise both our Technical Centre and our on-site service.


Technical Centre:

Our laboratory offers you the following services:

• Flow simulations
• Laboratory tests for the design and layout of tools
• Material tests

Forming part of these services are a wide range of tools (honeycombs, special manufacture etc.) tested on our existing machines (piston and auger extruders). Further stages, such as drying and firing, can also be offered to a certain extent.

Material development:

According to the customer’s request, we can adjust raw materials and additives to the extrusion conditions in-house. In this way, a wide range of materials can be adjusted to individual requirements. If commissioned by the customer, materials can be developed and tested in our Technical Centre.

Plant construction

If desired, we can plan plant and systems for the extrusion of technical ceramics.
